Sage is operated by Winkworth Homes LLC.
1. Information We Collect
When you connect financial accounts via Plaid, Sage accesses your account balances, transaction history, and investment holdings. This data is used solely to display your financial overview within the app.
We also collect your email address and optional display name for account authentication.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your financial data is displayed only to you. Sage does not share, sell, or transmit your data to third parties for marketing, advertising, or any purpose other than providing the service.
AI-generated reports are processed entirely on your device using a local language model. Your financial data is never sent to external AI services.
3. Data Storage & Security
Data is stored on encrypted servers (AWS with AES-256 encryption at rest). All communication uses TLS 1.2+. Sensitive data on your device is stored in the iOS Keychain.
Plaid access tokens are stored server-side only and are never transmitted to your device.
4. Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can disconnect individual financial accounts at any time, which stops future data syncs. Deleting your Sage account permanently removes all associated data.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to access, export, and delete your data at any time. Contact support@sagehq.app for data requests.
6. Third-Party Services
Sage uses Plaid to connect to your financial institutions. Plaid's privacy policy governs how they handle data during the connection process. We also use Supabase for secure data storage and RevenueCat for subscription management.
7. Changes to This Policy
We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification before they take effect.
